Drifting the high plains
In the evening it was KOMA that I listened to, but CKRC got most of my attention. I would turn on CKRC while I did my homework after school. It was my background sound so not every sound outside on the farm would distract me. Most times before I could finish mom would come in, turn it off and scold me because that wasn't the way to study. I think she cost me a letter grade.

Thanks eatsleeptrap your statement means a lot to me.

yes one would get a letter telling to report to Fargo for your physical.
Then later to report to Fargo for your railcar trip to Fort Lewis. Once in and after some training they flew you to nam to go where they wanted you. For me it was next to the DMZ in an artillery unit.

As it turns out i am glad it happen but then i came home with only some minor issues and a whole lot of growing up, maturing along with lifetime experience. Proud of what i did just was not proud of the war and why we were there. Kill a lot of people on both sides for no reason. A lot of innocents was left over there.
But i answer the call when call. That is important. db-2
