Love me a 1st gen Camaro. What are you throwing in there? Looks like it might not be terribly cheap.Love those big block 67 vettes!
Actually in the process of doing a motor swap right now in our 69 camaro.

Thanks.Nice looking SS
How is it set up? Drag, drag/cruiser, road course? Thanks, the 396 is long gone. I love putting miles on it since I have a tremec 5 spd, I went with a little 406.
Just a fun street car, it goes down the interstate pretty smooth with the Hotchkis front suspension. How is it set up? Drag, drag/cruiser, road course?
I have the same combo but I’m at least 150HP short of yours.I have a tremec 5 spd, I went with a little 406.
Must be for new Camaro if want all aluminum 427 or bigger you order one with factory big block and to get biggest big block your send car to California trade in your original big block for new ground pounder 427 or bigger only cost around 25K and up for difference I believe had friend did that several years ago.You guys need to stop in Bessette Motors in Carrington. They send cars to somewhere out east and they come back 1100 hp. They do cost a little.
So they can become road handlers ? I had a 70 that I repowered 2 times, it went like a raped ape but straight for the left ditch when you got on it real hard. Power steering would have went a long ways in that car but I knew nothing about suspension . I helped my boy put the motor in a Fierro when he was in high school. It was a fun project together but it was a worse death trap than the Camaro . I'm happy to see the tradition go on and I hope my grandkids catch the bug, Iv'e been saving goodies for them just incase.Just a fun street car, it goes down the interstate pretty smooth with the Hotchkis front suspension.
