Just curious about how everyone feels about John F Kennedy and if he was a good President in peoples eyes? He must have been a very good President as he is forever on coins and is very well regarded. I remember him vaguely as I was young when he was killed. I know there is alot of older than me here that may shed more info than I can remember.

I'm 60 and He was even a bit before my time. As a person I think he was a piece of shit womenizer screwing around with Monrow and countless others. He supposedly had a area in the lower levels of the whitehouse where secret service would sneak his skirts in under his wifes nose making a mockery of her. As a President he seemed to be loved by the American people. Knowing the way the Media has been exposed the last few years it makes you wonder if they just fed the american public the whole Camelot facade and the people probably ate it up cause then there was only the 3 network news and people believed whatever they reported. From what I read alot of his policies on cutting taxes and guns would make him a republican in todays climate. He was onto what some of the CIA was up to and made that comment about breaking up the CIA and spreading it to the 4 winds. It seems they took care of Him shortly after that.

That's kind of what I thought and had understood that he loved the ladies, just wondered how he was as a President and his policies was all. I know that the Soviet was an issue I just don't know what was all the issues he had to deal with back then. We didn't have much for TV just kinda word of mouth. With all this unsure political unrest right now I just kinda wonder because at coffee this morning i heard some of the older than me farmers brought his name up talking about what he could have done and since he was a democrat i just kinda was thinking because this election is very um, how should i put it, damned it you do and damned it you dont.

i was 16 when he was killed. When the news broken the school i was at had all us students go to the gym and listen to the radio and before normal time, they dismiss school to go home. Remember as if it happen today.
it was a big deal as it should have been. In my life at that time, he was
consider a good president by those around me.
And LBJ had him kill in order to take control of the Vietnam conflict. LBJ then put all kinds of troops over there.
But then he was a democrat who knew Marylin Moore well. db

I was 13 when he was shot. School let out early, mom had the TV on when I got home. People couldn't fathom it at first. I saw Ruby shoot Oswald on live tv too. Crazy stuff. Kennedy had a shitty personal life for sure. The media gave politicians a pass, both sides. But he was a war hero, saved his crew when their PT boat was cut in half by the Jap destroyer. And he went toe to toe with the Russians over Cuba's missiles,, but had to trade taking our missiles out of Turkey. Fair enough I guess.

He definitely had a charisma about him . My dad and mom would vote for him to this day no matter what ,both in their 90's. Lutherans to boot. Whats crazy is that they are as ultra conservative as they get. He was way ahead of Clinton in the womanizing category, One of the female interns came out in an interview a few years ago about how Jackie had the master bedroom remodeled and before she ever got home to use it , the intern and President did. You could go on that subject for days .

He was more conservative than most Republicans today. He was a lot like Trump...He threatened to audit the Fed and also to go after the secret societies and then shortly after he was assassinated. The deep state and globalists were alive and well back then very much like today and they had him killed. Seems the CIA also was involved. The far left is trying the same tactics today but have failed the assassination attempts on Trump. MAGA

I was in Grade 7 when the news was announced. Coparing today's politics to then isn't even close in my mind. In ND at least I would bet that Democrats back then would be full-fledged Republicans toady Can't imagine anyone back then approving of the things that go on today. No proof of who was responsible for Kennedys death back then but certainly a lot of conflicting theories.

Was he a womanizer, most likely. But we didn't have 24 hour news then and even then they weren't so likely to want to spraad rumors about any president. Think about how long it took the press to really press for info on Clinton and his straying. Today, if Clinton had been a Republican would have been much bigger news.

I remember Kennedy. I didn't like him then, but today he woukd be more conservative than many republicans.
He screwed up making the Cubans that were headed back to Cuba to fight Castro. For some reason we removed the defensive guns from the military planes the resistance we using to get back to Cuba. They were massacred. Read up on the Bay of Pigs.
Obama, Biden, and Harris make conservatives remember him kindly. Oh and Jimmey peanut Carter.
