Canted Scope Reticle?

Me too: "Front Site" for a good group. It's difficult. "Bad Guy" would suffer from my "fuzziness" in a mall at 71 yds. I have proved this multiple times on a simulator with "one shot/one kill" at "200 yds" on an official simulator to prove my argument and allowing myself to be waxed to hear the result at the end of the "battle".

"Kill" may be debatable but "Hit" was not. Impact and pain was not an option in the simulator as marksmanship could delay/disrupt enemy objective.

For those not in the "know": I "fired" a volley out of my M-9 during a training exercise and was mocked for my suppression argument by the ignorant. "One shot/one hit" was never fully appreciated even though I had to know the max effective range of the M-9 pistol.

So I had a rifle at the range today. Set a target out at 100 and put a level to it. I aligned the crosshairs with the target and adjusted the level on the scope tube to match the level crosshairs. This is what I got. Frick.

As an aside, I can't shoot for shit, canted reticle or not. Still had lots of fun.

Because she's hard of hearing and one speak extremely loud to her in an attempt for a frog transaction. It could be an effective technique if you're careful not to be considered rude. It's also humorous due to the unlikely scenario. In fact, I actually laughed at bit when I first heard it from Lemmy. Now I'm alone, cold, sad and nearly naked with dicked up scope focus and failure to achieve mirth.

As an aside, I can't shoot for shit, canted reticle or not. Still had lots of fun.

Try your level and a plumb bob at the same time. Then if they agree you know your cap and reticle are aligned with each other. Should be good to go but make sure your scope level agrees also. Then if your rifle was level when you tightened everything you should be good to go. Tool Crib of the North has a good little level that's squared instead of round and will not roll. It's a key chain level and only a couple of bucks.

I can't see leveling off the caps. They are threaded. Seems the would have a bit of cante because of that. But, I could be thinking wrong again.

I leveled off of the caps and off of the actual knobs. Got the same cant either way.

I tried different pressures and holds and found "springer air rifle guidance" was my huckleberry even after the mods. (float, bed. trigger) FWIW, for scope mounting, my first step is sticking a sheet of paper on the wall about 15yds away and using a level to draw a vertical line.
