You ever get into many of the mirrors when your out. Picked up a few the last couple days including this guy from yesterday.

I have observed that some waters are filthy with them while others they are rare

they were practically the dominant carp in Patterson in the mid 80s

That's a dandy. I was haunted by a big mirror in Sibley park all spring. He'd look but wouldn't eat. Moby Carp I called him after the first 11 times I put a fly in his face and he refused

Does a load of #2 shot from a 3 inch mag 12 ga going 1300 fps count as "presenting a fly"???

I can't express enough my dislike for carp....
Yeah been on a mission to take out as many as I can out of the folks lake but for some reason I can't kill the mirrors. Probably has to do with how big those bastards can get....plus they look kind of cool.
