Haha I heard a lot of the same about Favre….until he went to the vikes and they made their run. Then I heard nothing but stuff like well I hated him in green and gold but I always respected his play…yadda yadda.
I welcomed Favre, even though I hated playing against him. He was gritty, tough, flat out won games. Rodgers is a cry baby whiny-ass B. Can't stand him on or off the field. Favre turned out to be not so great off the field, so there's that too I guess.

Winning a SB with Rodgers would absolutely taint it for me. It's a hard no.

I hated farve more than Rodger’s and wanted no part of him but when he started to win I jumped on the train. I would do the same with Rodger’s. I didn’t like Aron jones either now I do.

I interested to know what Rodger’s off the field has done that is so bad. He dated the one crazy chick but most guys have done that. He admits a lot of his faults and is actively trying to work on them. He seems to be no different than Brady, Mahomes or any of the other ultra competitive players.

You want to talk tough he played through a broken leg and messed up knee. Was back on the practice field 97 days from having Achilles repair.

No dick pics any one knows of not a bunch of baby moms haven’t heard of any rape scandals.

All the great ultra competitive players would not seem real nice to play with to be as good as they are you have to be obsessive and not in a nice healthy way.

When I say I can't stand him on or off the field, it's his persona. He's an arrogant F, best at everything he does, rarely his fault when things go wrong, Cali boy.....just someone I wouldn't want to spend 5 minutes with. I'd give him 5, but if he didn't change my mind in that time I'd walk away. He is a prima donna to the level that NFL teams just do what he tells them. Doesn't like the coach? Gone. Wants all his former teammates in NY? Done. Not my cup of tea.

I'll give you an example of someone I hated to play against but respected the hell out of: Barry Sanders. Humble yet elite, never made it about him.....just went out and did his thing. I HATED when he'd torch the Vikings but would've welcomed him to play for us in a heartbeat. Only thing I wish he was able to do more of was choreographed celebrations ...rofl.... Icky Woods had his "shuffle". I bet Barry's would've crushed it!

My problem with that is they show the narrative they want to tell. My guess is they're trying to change the perception of his true self he's put on display for years. I'll probably watch it if I get around to it, but it's not on my top 40 list.

I thought it was going to be the same thing but it kind of goes deep and in the commentary he calls out his faults. I thought it was going to be all fluff.

...his take on covid was pretty spot on

His take on the clot shot exemplifies what a cowardly loser he is. At the time, he was one of THE biggest names in sports. He had a unique platform to be a leader (you know, like a quarterback) and speak up for those of us who were literally being silenced. He could have taken a public stance and helped protect his fellow NFL players from the pressure of forced injections.

Instead, he chose to quietly refuse the shot and played coy about his status until the issue was forced in the media. By the time that happened, the data was already showing the failure of the clot shot and the dialogue was changing. By the time he spoke up, it was safe to do so.

His take on the clot shot was right. His failure to use his platform to share that take when it was needed most shows he is a selfish coward.

He said he was immunized and no further questions were asked. If asked he would have answered. No one was forced in the nfl they didn’t have to take the shot just like cousins didn’t take it either.

How often were they enforced? Just a lot of talk no teeth. Funny we want celebrities to stump for us when they agree but when on the other side they should just shut the fuck up. Can’t have it both ways . I prefer they just mind their own business.

Don't say "WE" want them to stump for us. I DO NOT. Celebrities should entertain us and then shut their fucking pie holes no matter what side of whatever. They are just as full of shit us anyone else. Money and fame doesn't make people smart. It makes them crazy.

That exactly what I said but it’s easy to see the majority on here will tout some one when they are agreeing with them and burn them at the stake if they don’t. The whole time Jordan played you never heard anything from him unless it was basketball related. To many people let celebrities and sports people have a major influence on what they believe with out doing their own research.
