Message: <blockquote data-quote="Kurtr" data-source="post: 176538" data-attributes="member: 194"><p>After being out there i would say there are to many.  Roads going to designated trail heads are whats needed all the others that just run off and shoot all over cost alot to maintain and serve no real purpose.  I would rather have less better maintained roads than more less maintained roads.   I dont want more wilderness or nm as those dont allow management of the areas at all and getting those designations is what is taking alot of the roads out.  The numbers are also skewed as lots of those roads that are being "closed" are un passable any way.</p></blockquote><p></p>
