Everybody has their opinion. Sometimes simple questions can turn into 20 page opinions. case in point: Did slot limits come up at any of the meetings. Or, perhaps, mule deer hunting in the badlands. Not much has changed. </p><p></p><p>I do remember many years ago (like 30 years ago), I was at a meeting and a local farmer was complaining about the lack of deer and the fact that we should not be hunting during the rut. Sound familiar? Finally one of his neighbors stood and reminded the guy "one of the reasons you're not seeing as many deer is that deer don't like to bed down in drainage ditches." As a well-known drainer of wetlands, the complainer of lack of deer sat down quickly.</p><p></p><p>How much is there to discuss year after year. At least they're making an attempt.</p></blockquote><p></p>
