Alaska Adventure~

Had a friend take an unguided Alaskan float trip down a remote Alaskan river in late summer,they flew into a small village way up near the Aleutian islands inland,then a float plan ride 100miles up river,10 day float trip all the way,he said the fishing was spectacular,grizz,browns,wolves,moose and caribou along the entire trip.

That's on my bucket list. The logistics of unguided seem overwhelming though. Id probably just say eff it, and do a week long guided trip on the Kanektok, but it ain't cheap!
