Johnson waived his right to a preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to a charge of misapplication of entrusted property, according to court records. They read that the 52-year-old Johnson took money from the organization between 2018 and 2025.Court records state he admitted to the group’s president to using the money to pay employees at a separate business he owned at the time, and said he intended to pay it back.Minot Police launched their investigation in October and determined more than $174,000 had been stolen.A future court hearing in the case has not been scheduled yet.</blockquote>
