That article suggested that the G&F is most likely considering mule deer doe permits in most if not all units.</p><p></p><p>Don't know about whitetail but it seemed to me that during the winter I saw more deer as I drove around the state than the past few years. Realizing that not all deer made it through the winter it did seem to me that the deer I saw were in pretty good health. The winter started out with a lot of snow and cold but actually became milder as the winter went on. Add in a pretty early snow melt and it is reasonable to think most big game survived pretty well. Pheasants, not so sure. That early snow might have been very hard on that gamebird.</p></blockquote><p></p>
