And you did it..cuz there were like tons of kids that didn't get hired that wanted/needed a job. The one I started at didn't even have breakfast right away...or a drive thru for that matter..</p><p>3. There was no smart phones, cell phones, bag phones, heck...not even voice mail, call forwarding, answering machines...heck.. any phones in the house were attached to the wall.</p><p>4. No ipads, laptops, desktops. </p><p>5. Then comes the next generation..just like it always does.. but this next generation had less population in that age bracket..this..when competitors of the golden arches starting sprouting up..hardees, bk, dq, arbys subway etc.</p><p>6. This led to more and more competition for less and less numbers of young workers.</p><p>7. This led to more complancency..sorry..but its true..ie...if johnny doesn't feel like working one day...he just won't show up as he is pretty much guaranteed of getting a job down the street at one of the now many competitors if he is terminated.</p><p>8. With all this extra competition and more and more restaurants..it isn't that big a deal anymore to work at any one or another.</p><p>9. Bring on the computer age..that and more sports available to both sexes and the workforce number drop even further so </p><p>customer service starts to suffer as there just aren't that many to choose from.</p><p>10. Fast forward to the now millennial generation and there are even less numbers of young people and those that are looking do not see a fast food job as one they would accept..That isn't saying anything bad...its just that's the way it is.</p><p>11.. Busch lite number 6 or 7 were going down about now.</p><p>12.So where are we now?? A very large number of restaurants around the country that cannot find enough numbers of employees to fully staff their restaurants and thus service, and cleanliness suffers..not enough people working.</p><p>That's our .02..or way more than .02</p><p>I need to pick up some more Busch light in the morning.</p></blockquote><p></p>
