The charging rectifier that has a sealed bacalite back that is bolted to the frame had a crack in the seal and was shorting out against the frame. It would idle and low RPM great but when giving it gas it would fart and sputter. This happened with both machines. The second one just changed the rectifier and problem solved.</p></blockquote><p></p>
