Tis the only way to get to, stay on and feel the bottom in 20+ feet of water doing 1.8mph+ without letting out 125 ft of line. Then the "feel " part goes right out the window.  Regularly out fish smaller presentations and I assume it's cause I have my bait in front of their face a higher % of the time.
