Political implications aside, here is the big difference. One of the campaign promises Trump ran on and won was freeing these people. Biden repeatedly said he would NOT pardon his family or do preemptive pardons and then signed the paperwork on the way out the door. The honesty and integrity behind the "same" actions is miles apart.
Keep telling yourself that. You’re nuts too.

They should be in jail too. All who damaged property. Wrong is wrong.

I don’t buy the deep state stuff. I don’t buy that people can go out and do dumb shit snd not pay the price. Fact is any of us go out and break shit that isn’t ours, or assault a police officer, and we spend time. It should be universal.

Political corruption and investigations shouldn’t be weapon used by either party. The Dems started the mess and now are justifying his preemptive pardons because they think Trump will do the same to them.

Bottom line, you break the law, you pay the price. It should be the same for Antifa, January 6th thugs, illegal immigrants, or drug dealers down the street. If you feel one of those groups should get a free pass, well, we will just agree to disagree.
Totally agree, the ones that assaulted the law enforcement need to be held accountable, including the riots of MN. The ones that walked into our capital took some selfies, and walked back out, well guess what a ton of them are still in custody.
Imaging your wife and kids having to spend 4 years getting by without you for walking through a door a security guard let you in. That is the crime, and it is heart breaking.

One promised to do something wrong, and another promised not to do something wrong but did. They’re both wrong for their actions, regardless of which side you’re on. Claiming one is better than the other doesn’t work for me.

We’ve got to rise above and bring back wrong and right. Disagree with something fine, but if you cross the line and do something illegal you pay the price. If we continue to frame things this way, in the manner of “it’s wrong but…”, both sides will evolve into a mess of twisted reality that we’ll never escape. I fear we’re already there.

Edited to say I do believe in reasonable consequences. Did they break a law going into the capital to take a selfie? Yes. And they should be punished. Should they still be in jail? Likely not, that is an unjust penalty. But I personally think about the consequences before I do dumb shit too.

The Capital gives tours all the time. They gave themselves a tour chanting, "who's house....our house." OK sure, they should have not done that.

Yes.

Yes.

2 things can be true at the same time.

Hannity is an all-talk, money-grubbing, guest interrupting, self-aggrandizer . He fell right in line with the "Don't talk about a stolen election" orders from media execs post 2020, it took less than a week. It's been 5-6yrs since I watched or listened to him, but, I bet he can't go 3 days on his radio show without interrupting a guest and telling all the listeners that he:

1. Bussed tables
2. Was a contractor
3. Grew up in a family full of LEOs
4. Trains in the Martial Arts
5. Carries a Glock
I haven't watched A Fox News program in over 10 years (dropped cable about 10 years ago too).

Hannity, Bret, Brit, etc.... Holy cow did they turn left.

The alphabets have to have dirt on every one of them. No other explanation - from based to faux-based overnight. Truly bizarre.

Anyone properly identified assaulting a police officer in th J6 should never be pardoned and held accountable for their actions, don't care what side your on.
Sorry to inform you but NO police officers were injured or killed. You were listening to the lying mainstream media too much. They lied about the one officer that was blunged and killed with a fire extinguisher which turned out to be a filthy lie. There was one execution of an unarmed Air Force veteran named Ashli Babbit who was shot in the head and died by a black by a Capitol police officer who Biden just pardoned. Also, Cheney and her committee destroyed much of the evidence of these convictions and were also pardoned by Biden. Now tell me where the justice is?

Burdick v. United States (1915), the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that accepting a pardon implies an admission of guilt because a pardon is an act of grace extended for a crime.
So you’re saying all 1500+ Jan 6 jailed prisoners pardoned by trump are guilty? What an effed up mess.

By knowingly accepting trumps pardon, they are saying they were guilty. Please spin this so we can see how totally fucked in the head you are.

So you’re saying all 1500+ Jan 6 jailed prisoners pardoned by trump are guilty? What an effed up mess.
Most Jan 6ers were and are guilty of trespass, but there is video of the police escorting them in, opening doors, moving barricades, taking selfies, etc..... so maybe even trespass is an escalated charge, each individual case needs to be looked at because lots were obviously railroaded to prison for a lengthy time by corrupt joe biden department of justice. There will be some that deserve to be in prison of course, those are probably the BLM and ANTIFA terrorists plants.

My point in posting the supreme court ruling is that Biden crime family is guilty and got off the hook. So is the Jan 6 committee, including pencil neck Schiff and communist Cheney, they are guilty of weaponizing the justice system to attack a political opponent (Trump), and they conveniently deleted and destroyed the "evidence" from their committee investigation just like Hillary did when she deleted 33K emails and wiped her server with bleach bit.

I'm sure you wont agree because you have gotten drunk on the libtard Kool-Aid but that's your own fault.
Now get back to your Kool-Aid and start hating on America some more.

Why did Fauci need a preemptive Biden pardon?
