Maybe you should ask the other two boats who saw us catch it if it was on a stringer before you say stupid stuff like that!

Nice fish Fisheyes247! That would be insane to catch one like that in a tournament! Don't take it personal, there are always going to be people that talk smack about others that win tournaments.

A 33"er isn't going to live long in a livewell. That would explain why it looked dead.

Pretty sure Rowdie was just giving you a bit of grief. You'll get used to the shenanigans if you stick around. Nice Fish!

The first day leaders in the Montana walleye circuit didn't do to bad! Ended the tourney with 82 1/2 lbs in the aim style catch and release event.

I did put a pot stirring emojo. But that pic makes it look kinda iffy. Plus I've seen too many shenanigans during tournaments. You'd have too have pretty big balls to cheat in that tournament. There had to be a boat within view of every other boat all up n down the river.

I agree! It's a shame the lack of respect this tournament has for this fishery. With today's smart phones there is no reason to have a kill tournament. The ND Game and Fish Dept. don't believe we have nice fish due to SD and anglers releasing nice fish. I would rather see a kid catch a 25" plus walleye than to have it killed in a tournament. Thing is, most of those tournament fisherman would like to let those fish go if the Big Muddy officials were smart enough to hold a no kill tournament. You can't blame the fisherman!

Ya cause they are all getting poached up north from our stellar conservation practices down here.

Over the past month I'm sure 95% of all the big fish caught were released. The big muddy used to be the last Saturday of April and people like you complained because of all the females with eggs were killed. So guess what the Big Middy decided to move it a week later to prevent that. More fish have lived over the past month due to this tourney because most anglers released fish over 20". I know I released 30+ fish over 20" (that's what you would do RIGHT).Hopefully the ones complaining never keep a fish over 20. Most anglers from around here put the 20 plus "ers back. So we had 2 fish over 20 that we weighed. Ranger 150 hopefully when you go fishing for the fun, you only keep 5 over 20 all year long. Maybe if your smart enough you would step up and run some tourney's! Sorry for the rant but stop your whining!!

I'm just trying to stir some good old fashion ND SD banter. If the 100 boats catching pigs last weekend is really going to hurt the fisheries then it would probably be screwed from the weekend before and next weekend and the next weekend. Unless there is some truth to the sparkly boat mith than the tourny should be sued and all you ass's should hold your heads down!

P.S I think the current tagging survay says all the fish stay in ND and SD sucks! Exept those couple bars Lawrence Welk played at. There ok.

Or maybe it's because when the fish grow up they realize ND is better and decide to go to the better Dakota.
