They have been jumping over the state and not stopping because of the high energy crops they are now growing up in Canada. There Was a study that showed specklebelly geese hopping from Canada all the way to Kansas in one flight. There is a reason people hunt Canada over ND now

True this^ I read about a N.S.U student did a project where they attached a micro gps unit to a blue bill on devils lake during its molting stage (to capture it) ...this was in july one year,one day in october the same year this bill took off 76 hours later they tracked it to a lake in cuba...amazing ride if true.
