Cannonball Fire

The last couple of days have been awful fire conditions. High winds, heat and quite dry. Yesterday afternoon a big fire came up on the reservation and took off with the wind. Several people in the city of Cannonball lost their homes. A church was also burned. Please be careful with what you are doing out their folks. The response time of rural fire departments is not just a couple of minutes. With 30mph winds, a fire can make a ton of damage in short order.
