$4,000 for a bouncy castle. Is this thing revolutionary, or a flop in the making?

I can’t see myself even considering $4,000 for a blow up icehouse. Idk maybe it’s just me.

No way. I can buy a nice tent and nice ice shelter for less than that, and better setup for each task. And don’t need power to air them up.

That's going to be a flop. Guy can setup a hub house faster then that and you don't need air or have to worry about a leak. Dumb idea!

They’re building pickup toppers with similar technology. That stuff is way stronger/tougher than you’d imagine.

I suspect this is the way things will be built going forward.

Prices will drop.

There is already a huge market in place for these "blow up" forts. Think of people who want to go glamping, resorts, events, etc... $4k isnt that far out if you had 4 or 5 of them lined up in a glamping situation and rent them out nightly.

FWIW I see this style of marketing in almost every big business that needs to grow to keep shares up. They constantly need new market streams and strategies to sell product and keep people employed. They won't improve what they already have built and perfect it. Why? Planned obsolescence.

The comments on the clam website on this thing are hilarious. The explanation for the price point is that it was somewhere between the 1K flip over and an ice castle but come on a 4k tent? Who in the world thought this was a good idea!

I myself am not interested. I would like to know what the startup manufacture cost on a new product like this is (not counting design and engineering).

Have you ever watched some people try to put up a tent with poles. The people that cannot put a tent up will scarf these up in a heartbeat. Plug in the blower and hit the switch
