Slip bobbers and jigs are a great way to deal with the flooded timber and very effective at times. There's lots of areas to cover with the good old spinners-old road beds, points, the flats on the west end, ya just need to find them. My dad and brother fish the west end a lot with slip bobbers and do pretty good.
