What are suckers selling for these days ?
highest chub prices I've seen is 5 or even 5.50, but im guessing they'd come down now that white suckers are legal again, not sure what current sucker prices are, havnt seen any for sale yet

I recall seeing creek chubs mentioned as a factor in some good Governor’s Cup bags. This can’t help bring down prices. 😁

Gonna say ~$7-10/Doz
I think I used to pay $ 7 / doz back in the 80s , The good ol days when Clayton had the old RR station bait shop. I don't recall them out fishing by a huge margin but I couldn't go fishing without them. Seems like back then , you could put a teeniest minnow/leech/worm in the container on a spinner and BB and do just as well .

I've trapped and used them for years. I wouldn't say they're worth $6 a doz over minnows. I like em, but they're not some magical bait.
