Ive been having pretty good luck out there lately... Pulled another limit out last night.
ive heard they are up to 8lbs in there, but biggest ive gotten so far is that 5lb range or so. Lots of little perch, wont leave you alone during the day. When the perch quit biting, the walleye get going, about an hour before sunset.I remember fishing Davis 8-9 years ago when it was loaded with hot dog walleyes... I'm not surprised it's doing well!
ive been getting them in 7-10 ft, most people are fishing deeper I think tho...Are you finding them deep or shallow? I've been fishing some small lakes north of there about an hour and have been struggling to find fish. What I have found I haven't had much trouble getting to bite but mainly small perch and small walleye. Last night I moved a few times and never marked or caught a fish. Figured things would pick up with the nicer weather and being ahead of the cold front last night.
Its really solid still, driving on is a little sloppy right by the ramp is allhow was the ice holding up as of last night?
How does your Eyoyo Camera work on that lake? Clear enough to seeWas out again last night... They were very aggressive, only one bit hook and minnow, the rest were all on a spoon and half a minnow. Tile 2x2, so a couple 24's, couple 22's and a 19 or so.

Yeah, its all I use until it gets too dark to see my bait, then I switch to the vex. Its more fun with the camera than the vex! the battery it comes with doesnt last long, but I opened the box and removed the factory battery and wired in a pigtail so I can plug it into my 20AH battery I use to power my lights and other equipment in my sled. Now I can use it all day! I also put it on a switch so I can flip it off and on quickly, so If I want to use the vex, I can keep it off until I see something down there and then turn it on fast. How does your Eyoyo Camera work on that lake?
