See what grows, plant those species where you "just want trees". </p><p></p><p>Plant limited berry/fruit species as test cases - see what does well, then plant more of what does.</p><p></p><p>In other words - I think you need to work with what the land can give you - amendments, fertilizers, etc. on many 100s of trees/bushes seems like a huge PITA and results in "the land working you" - screw that - ha ha</p></blockquote><p></p>
