Wilst fishing today,i watched these kiddos crusing a waveless lake on surfboards...

Closer inspection at the boat launch park revealed battery powered fun toy,pricey, $2k up to $10k.

Kids these days...have you guyz seen these in your area?curious

The electric surfboard was invented in 1935, didn't really become successful until sometime in the 70s when it was reintroduced to the market. Originally a tool for Australian lifeguards to get to and help people in trouble.

I have not noticed any in ND, but have seen them on the coasts.

Sure looked like fun on flat water,they cruise.interesting allen 1935? Can only imagine the size of power source.

They’re called efoils and are a lot of fun once you get the hang of it (might take a lot of effort though).
