The people in this state had the chance to eliminate a tax and they said, "no". Now the recipients/spenders of tax money are going to eliminate a tax.

Absolutely agree every state needs their own doge that has the governors authority to make the decisions to cut funding to state pet projects. The sams with farmers, farmers should be able to cut out the federal government oversight and sell directly to the buyer. Even nd oil should be able to sell directly to other private sectors, the federal government has too much oversight that always takes the cream off the top

I see whatever the feds cut in income tax being picked up by the state income tax the next day. Shifting the shells around, but nor really accomplishing much. It is nice to dream about though.

So it would be administered by the State of ND . Geez look at our legislature , how many exemptions would there be - Lots - whatever helped them out . Look at the stupid crap they are discussing every day now, then at crunch time they pass all the important stuff the last couple days and slide in all kinds of stuff that almost all of us disagree with

This eliminating taxes or tax comes up at our elections every time, then "poof" just like most of our senators, mia until it's time to vote.end game these corrupt ppl running our country will never give up power or our tax money.

I feel it's mostly lip service. They eliminate that tax and it will just come from somewhere else. One tax rate disappears, another doubles.

Easily my biggest pet peeve ….. are lazy people on disability or other welfare - unnecessarily/fraudulently.

I agree , so much system abuse . And Then, my cousin had a stroke and was no longer able to work , she applied and was turned down. Pretty hard to fake a stroke.
