My 7 STW will be going with me to Wyoming this fall in search of Wapiti.

My Tikka .300 will be going with me to Wyoming as well this fall! Burned 7 points on the tag. Super pumped to be going.

I have a 270wsm with a synthetic stock, and a 300wsm with a wood stock. Yes they are both Tikka's. Shoot Winchester ballistic silver tips in both. Hope to get a tag for something this year to shoot one or the other. Have 5 preference points so hope to at least get a deer tag.

I've killed about 4 dozen Elk since the late 60's. I've used 4 different 270's and all but 2 were 1 shot kills. My favorite gun is my Winchester model 70 featherweight with a Barnes 130gr TSX, 7 kills with it in the last 12 years.

This year is according to my hunting partner "the year of the big bore". He liked my 375 H&H so much he bought one. We drew any Elk tags and it looks like we're using big guns this year to hunt with. I'm leaning towards a 250 grain bullet in mine.
