I unloaded the trailer, and Ranger last night. Put the fish house up in the back yard to air it out, and make sure its all dry, and of course we are getting rain now. Charge the Vex, put that away, and will finish the ice gear storage tonight.

Looks like I am done, and I really didn't even start.

I've been dealing with a shoulder issue all winter so I never made it out once;:;boozer
In fact with the lack of fishing if someone comes to close with even a hint of a bad attitude they're liable to be belted. Haha

How about just give them a good old fashioned pistol whip

Well if the forecast is accurate then this will pretty much be the last weekend of still relatively safe ice fishing down in this part of the state. Almost all 50 and 60's from thrusday on with most lows above freezing so that shore ice is going to get sketchy fast.

Boat will be ready this weekend. Putting most of my ice gear away, but will keep a skeleton setup out.

I'm done....busy with the insurance company, the bank, and the body shop after last wknd pressure ridge fiasco on Devils Lake. At least I didn't die and the suburban isn't on the bottom of the lake. Middle of East Bay, about a 4 ft drop. Good thing I pooped that morning!

doesn't look that bad, the frame hitch bent up the middle of my back bumper just enuf where I couldn't open the back doors. The cattle guard kept the grill and lights intact, but the frame is bent up just a little in the front. Only thing really broken is the little plastic crap behind the front bumper.

Drove over the embankment at Totten Trail tonight right at dusk. There was a guy driving cross Audubon going east, with a pickup pulling a wheel house. The edges on the big lake side were sinking in pretty good, out about what looked like 10 feet in most spots.

Sakakawea has come up 2.7 feet since the beginning of March. We've had a lot of reports of bad ice along lake shores. The forecast for runoff the rest of the weekend looks to be in the 55,000 cfs. The releases out of the dam are below 14,000; so the lake could come up another 1 to 1.5 feet before the month is yet over.

Hit up Audobon last night. Walked on. 28" of ice. Auger barely made it through. Top 1"-2" is getting soft. Main sheet of ice is pretty descent though. There was one vehicle that was way out there.

Fishing was typical for Audobon.....slow.

Fished Darling yesterday up at the Grano crossing-out on the ice about 5...stayed until 8...caught 7 eyes, 1 nice fat 16 inch keeper-ice still solid back away from the channel...18 inches-over the channel and under the bridge open water...last trip out on the ice for me this season!

Fished Beaver Bay yesterday, this will be the last weekend of ice fishing there. Broke through with the wilcraft in front of the boat ramp.
