I'll send you a $100 if you can get him on Judge Judy. We could all watch it and comment on this thread.

Here
I've been saving this for myself but don't think I'll ever accomplish: Late 60's early 70's Chevy pickup with custom paint: Remove the tailgate, shoot it with high brass 4 at 25; re- clear-coat then re-install. "Art is in the eye of the beholder" If you think this is awesome, you must choose range, choke and shot size for your proper effect.

I wish this was not true, but you are correct.

It's always been on the side of criminals. That's how our constitution was set up. Unfortunately sometimes to protect the innocent you also end up protecting the guilty.

Haha. Judge Judy would be good, but after watching her show a couple times, I don't know if I could handle her. She would prob chew my @$$. I called the buddy of mine that invited him and told him what was going on and he is lividly pissed off. It looks like another Sconnie has lost his ability to hunt out of his/ her own state.

My buddy asked me if I had called Dennis. I told him that I hadn't. He says I should find out what the hell is going on. I told him that its looking like it will work out in my favor but didn't want to say anything that Dennis could use against me. So at this point I am sitting back and waiting for resolution, BUT if he does show up to hunt next year, sh!t is gonna hit the fan.

Hopefully I wont have to revisit this thread in a year.

I am NOT paying my deductible. If he doesn't pay up, I will absolutely take him to small claims court.

You need to take him to small claims court. At worst he has to spend money to show up. If he doesn't show, you win.

Is there a way to save threads? Because I want to save this one and set a reminder for the same time next fall...just in case.

You would have to subscribe to the thread, and look it up this time next year. Might be a good read about the weekend before Halloween in a year! :;:thumbsup

so, let me get this straight... you know this guy? WTF? since he is denying it, i would just get your insurance to cover it and then ask him to cover you deductible. any reasonable schmuck would take that offer.

After all this time we have come to my original agreement. They are paying for my pickup, like I said they were going to. Actually, the guy that has these schmucks up to hunt with us called the kids dad and apparently got him to talk to his brother about the fact that if they don't take care of my pickup then they wouldn't be able to hunt with us any more. After they figured all this out I got a call from my insurance about an hour ago stating that the uncle (Dennis) and the nephews dad would be splitting my deductible and I could go ahead with the repairs with no out of pocket from me.

I told my insurance "I am glad you finally see it my way" and will be taking my pickup in for work tomorrow.

Glad you got it figured out. That said, I would have made the pinhead(s) pay it out of pocket so I wouldn't have had to make a claim on my insurance.
