I guess im in the minority but i am 100% for measure 2. All my kids are out of school now but Breakfast and lunch should be there for all kids. Its not just income. There are plenty of parents that will just cram a poptart down there kids throat and push them out the door. Then get to some of the rural communities where kids have to be at a bus stop at 5am to get to school. Its a drop in the bucket. If feeding kids is that big of a deal why not stop bussing them to all the sporting events. Make the parents drive them. There is so much waste threw out the whole syste., but making sure the have proper nutrition is just as important as an education.

Erik,
Nobody deserves a free breakfast or lunch, its really just that simple and I just heard a ad on the radio about the childhood obesity rates going through the roof. DONT be an enabler.

No need for the government to get involved with breakfast and lunch for the so call starving kiddos, it really is a non existent issue with the obesity of kids nowdays. I have never seen a starving kid anywhere is ND, so just calm down about the poptarts. Its all a scare tactic, and the left communist socialist play on your emotions.

NOTHING is FREE!

And I do agree about the busing to sporting events, quit that taxpayer BS, as you say make the parents drive them, and yes throw out the whole system.

Government is not a solution to anything, unless you are a socialist communist like comrade camper, and davey, and Ryan, they are on the take no questions about that.

Vote no on measure 2 and Yes on measure 1.

I guarantee the sun will come up tomorrow and there wont be any staving kids in our neck of the woods, there are plenty of safety blankets already in place.

So how are we going to defeat childhood obesity? Its a serious issue, and one the government will never solve, because the government makes everything worse, not better.

Wise up!

Also, a drop in the bucket? 140 million every two years, estimated, is a drop in the bucket?
#figureitout

And you better not ever bitch about property taxes cause the money to fund this quagmire has to come from someone, including you.

140 million wont be enough.

Careful what your bleeding heart votes for

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"
