This will give me 2 good cobs per plant instead of one. I plant Silver Queen, which is a all white sweet corn that we prefer over yellow or peaches and cream. Plants are about ready to tassel and are about 6ft tall. I side dress with 10-10-10- again when ears are starting to form and we get cobs that fill nicely all the way. Don't have to use so much garden space to get the amount of sweet corn we need for canning this way. Electric fence for keeping the masked raiders out will be going up in about 2 weeks. We plant our corn a little late so it is ready first part of Sept. little cooler for canning. Might be a little later this year because of the cool nights.</p></blockquote><p></p>
