skee roo that - I get sick of the vexilar alone (the 28 even)

we do field projects all the time and they are outdoors "in the sticks" - all based on Honda 1000 and 2000s for powering our systems

and even though we are wearing hearing protection all the time it is PURE SWEETNESS to turn them stupid things off at the end of the day

a louder one? um... NO.

Turn down your hearing aid.:;:sorry

I wish I had hearing aids at times so I could turn them off

not really - but I do have exceptional hearing for my age from what the nurses tell me when we get medical monitoring tests

the nurses all crush about my hearing - it's the same predictable result every time

"I tallied the results Mr. GuyWhoFishes. I must say I'm very impressed by your hearing. Are you single?"

Yeah - I'm not gonna lie, medical monitoring appointments are pretty awesome.

"buy the best you can afford and justify, and move on" has served me very well in life with few regrets...

I had the loud generators and when I bought my Honda it was nice. I heard a Ryobi that one was pretty quiet.

Spend the money and get the Honda. You change oil once or twice a year and run a magnetic dip stick they will run for ever.

At $150, you could buy a new one every couple of years for the next 20 and break even on a Honda.

Yes he could do that. But will hear the loud noise in your sleep if you can sleep for years.

I have a All pro 1500 I will sell for on 85.00 and I will throw in some ear plugs

Better yet pick up a 900 watt Storm Cat from Harbor Freight, it's 80 bucks out the door with a 20% off coupon. I've had mine for a few years now and use it for camping and it's ran great haven't had any problems with it. There are muffler mods you can do to make it more quiet but I just use a 100 foot extension cord.

That is the best idea I have read all day, just make sure nobody has left a Land mine where you plan on putting your new genie.

I like the concept of making myself and everyone around me miserable for days and days in order to save a few bucks. Sounds legit.
