Only some will get it . Watched some pretty cool cloud rotation last night to the east after it passed over and there was supposedly a tornado 1/2 mile south of us but the dust was so thick in the air that it got dark and I couldn't see that far. Looks like another enjoyable weather watching night tonight. We need rain here it's been the driest spring I can remember , First time i've saw the lawn turn brown this early up here.

Hey Amber! Plan my day. It's scary dry in Dickinson. NDAWN says we received almost half an inch.

It IS a dry spring. Almost hard to believe it's not even July yet. The heat kills me, and we still have all of July and August, before we can expect cooler temps. I'm almost ready for fall.

Really, I feel like it's only been hot for about week, before that it was just F'n windy! Agreed on the dry part for sure!

Started raining 75 northwest of Bismarck about 11:00 pm and is still showering this morning. Nice.

Have 180 acres of alfalfa cut and baled. Only saw one clutch of pheasant chicks and one nesting hen. Not good.

That was at the airport station south of town 5 miles. In town my gauges this morning are showing 1.10". Hope we get more today as they are saying.

Multiple reports out of variety of areas near Killdeer showing 4+ inches. 1.10 or so at the house this morning when I left for work. Talked to parents in Hazen, showing 2.20 inches so far, and that was an hour ago.

About 2 inches, just south of Bismarck. The Fireworks will be flying high this weekend.

It was bad here a while ago too but settled down again now. Last night not much rain but a tornado went just south of us, lots of big trees broke off half way up . Rained off and on all day today so far about 1.5 inches. Has anyone ever soil tested before and after a rain or know the average nitrogen content of an inch of rain?

Finally this evening rain totals 1/2 inch so far. Second rain of season and last one was 1/2 inch.
So dry and hope by morning gauge is over one inch.
Hopefully plot will now all germinate and more rain later on to plant brassicas. db

I think it's gonna finally happen db. We got a million dollar rain here today . Up to 1.75 now. Not sure how far east of us you are but all we were getting was hot dry wind. Rain pattern coming in narrow band heading NNE not the normal but I guess it's 2020. I took a drive today and saw aspen trees 1/4 mile south of me that were snapped off half way up . it left a few pretty good marks. It got so dark here that I couldn't see it and we have is hills and trees to the west so we can't see them coming till it's here. I thought it was a great show.
