How's your season going?

Don't see many pics on here, was just wondering how everyone's season is going so far? Have seen some really big elk and moose being shot. We thought most of our deer were wiped out by ehd, but after a month of no sightings this guy walked past my son at 39 yds. He got him to stop and was able to put him down, he even got the shot on video. Super happy hunter, he hadn't shot a deer in quite a few year's and not for lack of trying thats for sure he's sat many days and not seen a deer..damn ehd. I've scored allot of deer and this one probably has the coolest brows and bases of them all, counted 11 score able points on the brows and bases.
Happy for him.
Me..not much to hunt for so I'm on my way up to lake trout fish again up north today!

Nice deer. My only hunting is watching from the tractor cab. And I am not seeing much. Few pheasant, very few waterfall not much for deer but no dead ones either. Just started beans done. Be sure to bash me now as I am a farmer and land owner.

The deer are just starting to show more consistent interest in my food plot. One of these days I'll give it a try.

Thanks! My Manitoba buddies got to fish a half day while we were on the road. Caught 20, 41 incher is the length to beat now I guess.
Everyone's sleeping, I'm up chomping at the bit! Ha ha ha
Border crossing was still easy and we were loaded down, always nice to have a cool border agent. He did do an ans check, buddy had thoroughly cleaned the boat and trailer so all good. Roads....well that's another story! One "bump" was so bad I guess a nodak guy hit it and his trailer tongue snapped at the swing away pin and the boat wrecked into the ditch..not good. Glad my buddy sent us pins of some of the really bad ones or we could have done the same!

Good Luck, I've never caught a laker, probably because I have only fished them once on a Spring bear hunt...
