What does the prc do better in terms of terminal ballistics than the creedmoor? Having seen two animals shot side by side with the same bullets i could not tell a disearnable difference when looking at the animals. Impact velocity was roughly 200 fps fast with the prc.
The PRC has better down range velocity and energy. Damage to the animal is miniscule up to 600 yards from what I have seen. We both shoot the same bullet at similar game animals.

I’d probably pick the 127s over the EOL 156s for wapiti.

Curious how the 156s did on elk? I’m not saying they don’t work, I tend to pick Barnes when it absolutely has to be dead.

I too shoot the 156s out of my 264. They whack the shit out of whitetails!! That I know!!
The 156s fragment after about an inch into the animal and shreds the insides. They do not move much after hit. I have not used them on deer, but I assume the same results. I normally shoot the 130g Federal terminal assents as I have about 10 boxes of them. They seem to do the trick on deer and antelope.

If you already have a 270WSM there is no need to have the 6.5 PRC. I have a 270 win mag and a 6.5 PRC and know I am doubling up, but I wanted the 12lb rifle and ability to adjust my trigger down to 4 ounces.
I also have a couple of 6.5 Creedmoors. I have shot the 6mm Creedmoor and they would be nice as woukd the .25 Creedmoor. However if you already have a light caliber I would go 6.5 Creedmoor. This year simply for experience I started pushing the EL-VT to a modest 3250 fps. Very low recoil and for coyotes doesn't give up anything to 1000 yards. With Berger 140 VLD I have killed good size white-tail to 758 yards.

I don't remember which state I was in S Carolina or Georgia, but I was in a Bass Pro a couple days ago and a fellow shopper and I had a great discussion in the bullet isle. He said he has a farm up in N Carolina that he gets to once every other year. He shot a black bear with a 147 ELD-M out of his 6.5 Creedmoor. I didn't know the east got bears that big, but he showed me a photo and it was a monster. I asked the weight and it was 740 lb. He has also shot three elk with that combo. He was picking up heavy 30 cal ELD-M for one mile competition in Georgia this week-end.
My 6.5 absolutely loves the 147 ELD-M, but I am reluctant to use it for hunting. I have had poor luck with the 140 ELD-M on coyote. For me they act like full metal beyond 300 yards.
