I used to use Navionics but now with them charging $25/Year I am looking at other option to use while ice fishing to see contours and help set up to fish..Are there still any free apps. out there or are they all for pay to play now? Any recommendations?

Tell you the truth most of these apps for north dakota are crap when it comes to finding reliable lake depths. Most people's myself included bought a handheld to be able to mark our way pts. I use navionics for that purpose to mark way pts the lake contours for devils lake and surrounding lakes are very vague in depths. Another app is fishidy to try

Drill holes. ...rockon...
I hear ya! I'm actually looking forward to the first few this season..Finally switching over to the K-Drill..I needed a new drill for the home so thought might as well kill 2 birds with one stone and got the Milwaukee M18 series hammer drill...

Navionics is still free for me? I had a subscription but it expired years ago. What I see today is as good as it used to be.
