If there’s a civil suit from other anglers competing or from tourney organizers, great. But criminal conviction seems a stretch. With that said, it’s almost no doubt that guys with these types of morals are also breaking game laws.People involved in a niche typically vastly over glamorize what people outside the niche think. That video can have 10 million views from anglers and everyone will have the same “that’s messed up” thought. But outside the small community of people that fish tournaments, the vast majority of fishermen have never even looked at a tournament weight and don’t really care what happens to these guys unless actual game laws were broken.I could care less what happens to these guys anymore that if some team that’s been winning Mcquades for 10 years was caught using illegal bats, for example. Figure it out within the little community of the people that care and keep my tax dollars out of it. Especially keep the very limited fish and game enforcement time and money out of it during the busiest time of year. I’d rather see tournament fishing go the way of the Dodo Bird than see much of any amount of our public resources go into enforcement of these types of things.</blockquote>
