By the way I also love eating the burbot. I only take the back straps. Slice it into nuggets, bread with favorite coating and fry. Absolutely delicious.

Ling, burbot, eelpout is in the cod family … skin like catfish and remove white meat clean well, boil in salt water add some sprite or 7-up … dip in melted butter = poor man’s lobster
