Any interest in this?

You don’t have to be an expert or even have a rifle or a clue, I have one or two rifles you can shoot. (SDMF may have a few as well if he’s so inclined) No judgment zone, just want to pass on some knowledge and have fun.

Check your egos at the door. It’s not wanted and may result in adverse reactions. Just stay home if that’s the case.

It would be a fun learning experience. Or just a complete goat rope drunk fest…. 😬

Afterwards of course….i know a guy that knows a guy who knows how to make “apple pie.

Bruce you can come but I’m not pushing your damn wheelchair. 😬

Ps: Bruce tell your damn cop friend to bring his fence post. I won’t hold it against him.

This has been a long time coming and needs to happen

I'd possibly be interested. Have lots to learn from my small shooting. Didn't really get the practice in I wanted to this summer. Lots of ammo shot but it was 90%+ my daughter's pulling the trigger

Not sure when, all the logistics would have to be hashed out. I’m just gathering interest

If you haven’t shot steel it’s a blast!!

We DONT need landowner permission. 😎

I have 2 boys and two grandsons who would most likely jump all over an opportunity like this. Fargo area?

Tentatively in the Sandhills
My back yard is what your saying. I got my first 10" round last year, added an 8" this year because my girls were hitting too easy at 100. Put the 10" at 170 because that's as far as i could go with the corn up, my 12yr old has no issues going 10-10 with my 223 bolt. If you would be that close to me would probably bring my 10 and 12yr old daughters

JSYK: IMHO the A-Tip is the epitome of target/"deer" bullets. The new "ELDVZXJ5" is a marketing ploy: While I don't believe anything produced from Hornady is shit; the ELD "5"--whatever fills the same imaginary gap between the .357Rem and .44Rem.

Some folks roll their own. I don't. If I did (shot placement):

Yes, the Sheyenne National Grass Lands.

It's been a few years since I've been down there, but there is a lot of room and IMO is a very underutilized resource.

I'd have to get out and find a new spot though, the last I heard our "old spot" was overgrown with some type of noxious weed. (poison oak, ivy...ect)

Not a big deal, there is plenty of room down there.

I must admit I have YET to try any of Hornady's "new" stuff. I still have 1000s of Amax left in various flavors. Probably the best bullet ever made!! Yes, I said it. :giggle:

Probably best to plan now for an event in the spring. IIRC, all ND Grasslands are shut down to any travel beyond gravel/pavement due to fire danger.

Whether I go or not, I've got targets to send along.

I'm not going if you're not going. Not after hearing your eerie peanut butter stories about Jiffy.
