They said we were supposed to have proof of residence like a utility or cable bill. Being in an apartment we had neither. We voted and received a letter in the mail later and it was up to the person at the address to send a letter back if someone not living at that address cast a ballot. Basically we voted on the honor system. I wouldn’t doubt that still goes on, or has it changed enough for people to be sent away from the polls? I’m fairly certain the RRV cringes when they think of what would happen if the state enforced the residency and vehicle licensing rules out west forcing all the “newcomers” to vote here or not vote at all.</p></blockquote><p></p>
