2400 I used Winchester 760, but that is the same powder as H414. I have had five 243s, but none currently. My last one really liked the Hornady 87 gr HPBT, over W760. I like ball powders for cartridges I shoot a lot. I think I am going to try Bighorn Hunter in my Creedmoor.

I run 120TTSX in my 7mmSTW. Dime sized groups at 400 yards when i do my part. Multiple 1 shot kills from 150-525 yards, spendy but worth it..Speed Kills!!!

Lead bullets WORK. Copper bullets WORK. Lead bullets cheaper. Copper bullets NOT cheaper. Not all guns like copper better than lead. After that, it's really up to you as to what you believe about lead vs. copper. I've read the papers on this issue and the results are the same. Inconclusive!!! I can site specifics, but that just gets boring and I would have to go into statistics, methodologies, sampling averages, confidence intervals, etc. etc. etc. The bottom line is that if the science can't show a correlation between lead ammo and health hazards, whatever conclusions ANYONE wants to make about lead ammo being hazardous are nothing more than politically motivated statements and their personal opinions, NOT FACTS. BTW, I used a copper bullet to knock down one of my Bull Elk in Montana and a lead bullet for my other one. Both Dropped within 40 yards. Good Luck!!

We need more specifics on this gun dime size groups at 400 are amazing. Is this one dime size group or doing it multiple times and how many shot groups. If you are consistently shooting groups like that is damn impressive. There are gun Smith's who won't even claim their custom rifle will do that

Lead comes from the ground right. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, shouldn't make a difference.

Trying some all copper in my 22,s CCI 22 long rifle 21 grain 1850 fps. Only 22 legal in Cal. About a 1/3 again faster than normal 22. They even sound different when fired, have to see what they do to gophers this spring.

Switched to copper for all my edible game -- possibly for no good reason -- who knows... FWIW: 150 TTSX via 7mm REM mag anchored an elk at 325 yards last fall.
