I keep seeing support for legal pot, I don't care one way or the other. In AZ if you have a marijuana card (to buy legal pot) it invalidates not only your CCW it also takes your right to own not only guns but ammo and you can not legally live in a house where someone else has either guns or ammo.

Once you have a medical marijuana card you can't give it back and get your gun rights back. So until the Feds make it legal and rewrite the law your screwed if you get the card or buy it through a prescription or state store and want to own guns and ammo.

Here's a link to the ATF letter that addresses this,

That letter states several times "UNLAWFUL USER". If you have a card, YOU ARE NOT an unlawful user and therefore those laws DON'T apply to you. Scare Tactics and nothing more.

the feds haven't legalized it yet so far as they're concerned it's illegal.

Your right again 2400. You will not make a background check even if the state says your legal. Not only that if they stop at your house and you have guns your going to be in more trouble than the guys caught with drugs illegally.

That may be true on paper eyexer, but until the Feds invade Colorado or start arresting gun owning med pot card holders, I figure there's some intense and very real legal problems with them doing so. Much of which I suspect hinges on the term "Unlawful" and that pesky 2nd Amendment.

I don't have a dog in this fight. I do know if you ring the "legal" user bell you may not be able to unring it. That''s all I'm pointing out.

Now for your statement reread the 4th paragraph carefully.

It's a broken system , Feds are in denial and seem like they want fight it to the bitter end and just keep building prisons and expand law enforcement. The chain of commands has been broken so it will be interesting to see how many (if any) apply for a ND growers permit . There is money out there so I suppose it will be a fight for territory but it's a hell of a risk to pay in the neighborhood of to 100K non refundable cash for a state issued permit that is illegal on a federal level. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

They made a statement by pulling hemp CBD products off the shelves in health food stores , If the owners didn't comply what would happen ? Fine ? close down establishment ? jail time ? Big pharma and other industries pay big money to build bigger Gov to fight it in return for more money.

End result , Making it unaffordable and insurance won't pay for it. Ok Rant over

I wish i had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night then i could answer this question.
Did anyone on here stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night? If so please answer the question.

I agree the BIG Pharma companies are paying off the Feds to not pass this as they know darn well their sales will drop and drop big time. Another big government big cluster fuch!
