Afterwards, we caught wind that some of our friends were having luck in the arm, and catching a better quality fish.</p><p></p><p>On Monday, Micah and I went out in the morning for a quick trip, before heading home. We were going to check a couple of the island shorelines, but ended up finding fish at the first one we tried. I pitched jigs shallow, while also dragging a lindy. Micah ran a lindy as well, and to my joy, she caught the biggest fish of the day. We spent this morning in less than 10 fow.</p><p></p><p>The water temps in the Van Hook area varied from the mid 50's to the low 60's. The water is still a little bit stained, but that should start to clean up. I would expect for that area to be very good by this upcoming weekend.
