Merry Christmas every last one of you. Have you noticed more people saying Merry Christmas this year? Economicly were still in trouble, but people are happier.

Our now retired CEO forbade the use of Happy Holidays - required all company communication/messaging to use Merry Christmas. New CEO has gone PC and changed everything to Happy Holidays.

Christmas can get a little hectic, no doubt. It's also a favorite time of the year for me. It makes my day when I walk out of a local help organization leaving a donation with the instructions "Help a needy family have a nice Christmas." Never know if I left enough but do trust the people in charge to make good decisions.

For me, that helps make Christmas somehow special. I have enough, I at least can help someone else have a little joy. Merry Christmas to all.

Yup mrs johnr and I usually fill a couple boxes for the Christmas church gifting ordeal, and always throw some money in the kettles. However a few years back my son had a little issue, and his community service we rang the bell. It is unbelievable how many people coming through the couple times we volunteered that put $100 bills in the slot. I would never guess people were that generous, as I was just throwing the change I had into them. I would guess several hundred, if not close to a thousand was gifted in our short time ringing them bells.
