DM...I'm getting the Xi5 installed on my boat as we speak. Good Lord willing I'll have a report on how she works after Saturday. But your perspective...having now owned/operated both...is "gospel". Glad you're happy with your upgrade!

If something happened and I had to put an Xi5 back on, I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed. They're fantastic motors.

^After replacing the older MK PowerV 12v 42PD with the Xi5 55PD sure it will seem as tho I've jumped into the 23rd century!

I love my Xi5! It was flat out awesome again yesterday anchoring in the wind and current.
