Taken from another site.... very interesting none the less!
So I was in Minneapolis today for the State Fair and uh...
We heard the news about the Catholic school shooting about an hour or so after it happened, while we were visiting the Republican booth and talking to a nice black conservative man running for governor of MN. And while we were there at the booth, a group of, shall we say, "elders," came up in front of the booth, all wearing the same red t-shirts and started protesting the Republican stand.
The black conservative man said they were paid agitators. The shirts said things like
Republicans and Trump lie about everything! or
Trump sends migrants to concentration camps! or
Trump raises taxes for the poor and gives tax cuts to the rich! or my favorite
Trump has worsened the climate crisis! Meanwhile they had a black girl taking professional pictures and video of the whole thing, and other young liberal women were handing out paper fans that said "Save Medicare!"
ALL of this happening while one of their own shot up a school and children simply because he/she/it was mad at God or the world or something, and wanted to take out his/it's anger on the most innocent of all God's creations, His children. NO shame from these ancient hippy boomers, they just wanted to make a scene and "make sure their voices were heard."
Oh, and protesting of any kind is NOT allowed in the State Fair grounds, anywhere for any reason, and signs are absolutely prohibited, which is probably why they wore the shirts. I know for a fact, that if anything like this was tried outside the DFL booth, we would be promptly arrested and kicked out.
The one consolation to this is that there's a tiny stand at the Fair that gives out free "Walz Failed" paper fans, and those fans were
everywhere at the Fair, so it was nice to see that.
Sorry for the rant guys, but this just made my blood boil today. Just wanted to enjoy a nice day at the Fair, then news of the shooting came through, and then to top it off a bunch of nursing home relics started protesting the Republican booth in their paid-for t-shirts, even though they're not allowed to do so. "Rules for thee, but not for me" to the max.
Okay, rant over. Will delete if mods say this is unnecessary.
EDIT Also something I should add about other things I saw at the State Fair are:
- Somalis were everywhere. Couldn't turn around without seeing a group of them. 2 years ago I didn't see hardly any at the State Fair. Now they're everywhere. AND, they're taking over so much now, that there was a Somali specific food vendor there, and a "prayer tent" next to the 4-H building which houses children who are staying at the Fair to show their projects. (Of course they put it next to the building filled with young and vulnerable kids, wouldn't want to put it next to the pig barn! le gasp the offensiveness! That's not halal!)
By the way, this "prayer tent" is not for Christians, no, no. In the decades I've been going to the Fair they've never once cared about a having anything dedicated to Christians, unless it makes them money (some of the food vendors are run by Christian churches). No, this "prayer tent" is a place for Muslims, specifically Muslim men (I watched a Muslim man leave his wife and child behind so he could go into the tent alone, no women or children allowed!), to go pray to their fake Allah with their butts in the air. I was starting to get surprised I didn't hear the call to prayer on the speakers around the grounds, because that is already a thing in some areas of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
- Another thing is that, unless I missed it, the pro-life booth was nowhere to be found. In all the years I've gone, it's always been there, and I've always stopped by to give them support, because God knows they get seriously harassed and attacked by demonic witches that come by to intimidate them. It seems pretty clear the direction the Fair is going in. Pro-life booth = bad, Muslim prayer tent next to kid's building = good.
However, there
was a Black Lives Matter booth...being run by three little black boys about ages 7-12. WTF?
- And the final thing is that Minneapolis is beyond help. I saw so many degenerates walking around that the only thing gayer would have been a pride parade. But if Walz had shown up then it would have been even gayer than an actual pride parade!
