MC Comm. voted last night to approve another government subsidized wind farm known as Longspur Wind Project encompassing approximately 26,000 acres located in Morton County near New Salem. Minnesota Power requested it and is being sold to Black Rock's Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CCP Investments). Seems these board members are more beholden to the large out of state corporations and foreign countries than they are to the Morton county residents and property owners. These wind farms are responsible for bilking hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars and for killing hundreds of Bald eagles and Golden eagles every year along with thousands of migratory birds. This is just another green new scam project that will never benefit the local property owners or the general population one iota.

I have said it a number of times..not just county look at who was elected to national representation. We keep electing these people in..we get what we elect...

These are the people responsible for destroying our country. One of the commissioners even said, why are we bitching about subsidized wind farms when many farmers already take money from the government. In other words, let's keep handing out welfare money because it's been done for a long time and why stop now? These politicians are destroying our State and our Nation.

What's our choice? Voting democrat or republican is still getting cultural cancer. It's like do you want cancer in your left lung or your right lung. Agriculture has influential lobbyists, along with power, oil, minorities, socialists from other countries, and the list goes on and on. Here in North Dakota for a few years we had as many non-resident duck hunters as residents. Remember the uphill battle we had to change that? Right on here we had a member bragging about serving elk steak at his home to Cramer. The honest man on a salary gets the crappy end of the stick every time.

Vote fir people that represent your values...not whether its an R or a D. If they dont you boot them from office...recalls etc. Then..just maybe then the political parties will realize the people have had enough. This will never happen though..look at bismarck..they vote out the mayor only to place him as a county commy...
