Had Rocky mountain spotted fever about 45 years ago and ticks don't like the taste of me anymore.

No deep woods off or deet doesn't detour ticks,nfact it may attract them.

Ever dice I started using it on my pant legs I don't get nearly what I did with. Get the stuff with highest feet content you can

I hate them sum-bitches with a passion! Hated them as a kid but there weren't as many back then and i hate them as an old geezer worse!

Anyone ever use Bravetco or Nex Guard chewables for ticks?


Yeah, have used Nexguard last two years. Expensive stuff and I wasn’t convinced it did any good whatever. We’d pick odd dozens of ticks each trip. 50-75+ wasn’t unusual after an afternoon wandering the hills. Was going to use it again this year, but luckily didn’t have any around while traveling so bought some generic Frontline Plus lookalike in a farm store somewhere and we only get a dozen or so per trip. In fact, I spend a lot of time in the hills, and sincerely thought that the tick numbers were way down this year, yet everyone reports millions of,them. As far as I’m concerned, no more expensive ineffective Nexguard!
