What can you say other than OMG!!!!!! Chris Rudzitis just sent us this pic yesterday. "57 1/2" length and 27 1/2" girth catch and release on Mille Lacs. Orange Glitter Perch 10" HeadLock!" By the basic formula that puts this fish in the 54-55 pound category. Amazing fish Chris and thank you very much for sharing it with us! —

No damn way that beast would be released. There's limits for growth and potential and those fins look pretty red. That SOB would be on my wall attacking a freaking terrified raccoon.

Pretty sure this beast from mille lacs would've beeb a state record from a few years ago,57"s +,maxed out a 50lb digital scale with the tail resting on the boat floor,"cpr'd" (released.) world line record still holds for 10# mono.

Was that fish caught with 10# mono? If so its unlikely that its still alive not mention it was CTR'd (tortured and released) by the looks of the blood..

caught in 10' of water while walleye fishing full moon sept,5 minute fight,guy was cut when he grabed the beast,hooked in the upper lip,swam away with no issues.Caught on a #10reef hawg.

49 inches, close to 31 lbs. The state record was around 33 at that time if I remember correctly. I released them of course.
