ND Big Buck Contests

Many of the big buck contests have faded away for various reasons.
I see the old stand-by Lincoln, ND/Tumbleweed contest is 12/06/25.
List some more if you know the info:

Forbes doesn’t have one anymore because THEY DON’T HAVE A BAR!!

The Legion in Ellendale does though. Pretty sure anyway.

No Dickinson (Army's West-Final-Final is new name with new owners)
No Bismarck (Army's/Sidelines-new owners)
No Pollock, SD (Oahe Sunset Lodge-maybe next year)
No Bayside Marine (new owners)

What’s the point of a big buck contest these days? Go and see deer that landowners shot with gratis tags? Nobody else can deer hunt in the eastern part of the state. Sad

The concept of big buck contests is not only to crown the highest-scoring animals & those who harvested them, but also:
see many nice deer
see various non-typical & unusual formations
talk & tell great stories
renew friendships & see people you haven't seen in a while
share common interests & ideas
a night to get away from daily grind & have a beverage
AND TIME TO JUST ENJOY YOUR SURROUNDINGS!

There is other big racks I find more interesting, and the smell of some of these "hunters" is off putting.
