But what bothers me and sticks in the back of my mind when anger makes me think I don;t care what we do to strike back is what will that lead to in the future. If we are willing to ignore our Constitution to target certain groups or allow power to be given to govt even more such as what Trump is suggesting, consider this. At some point we will not have a "conservative" as president again. We may also have a Congressional body controlled by progressives. At that point, will the actions we have taken to protect this nation from one group of people be used to "protect" it from another, say racist, bigoted rednecks that cling to a bible and a gun? We have seen what a simple flag would cause the progressive to do. Rush was talking the other day about how it was said Clinton when president the tolerated mass shootings as it allowed that action to be taken advantage of. We need to remember that govts attract those that wish for power and control. They often do not care what happens to give them more of that power and control. History has shown this to be true.The ONLY thing that stops that consolidation of power and control in govt is We the people. If we allow it to happen for one reason, it will continue on for other reasons.
